In this IMG activity, you can view and define the settings for the compatibility check between mobile devices and back-end systems.

  • System details
In this step, you specify which software component versions are installed on the back-end systems of your system landscape.
  • Compatibility matrix
In this step, you define which mobile components of a mobile device are compatible with which software component versions of a back-end system.
  1. Create a compatibility scenario for each group of Mobile Component Descriptors(MCDs).
  2. Specify which mobile components (MCDs) are to be included in each compatibility scenario.
  3. Define at least one component group for each compatibility scenario.
  4. For each component group, specify the software component versions that are compatible with the mobile components you specified for this compatibility scenario.
  • System landscape
In this step, you can call up an overview of the existing systems in your system landscape. For more information, see Systems and Connection Parameters.
