/ISDFPS/PM_ARCH - Activate Archiving for Distributed System Landscape

In this Customizing activity, you can specify that when archiving data from the areas Maintenance and Support for Flight Operations, the corresponding archiving objects can also be used for the activated Distributed Maintenance scenario.

Note the following general information for archiving in distributed system landscapes:

You can archive data in both the central and decentralized systems. If you are using a distributed system landscape, you must work out an archiving concept in sync with your system landscape that fulfills the following requirements: To exclude data inconsistencies you must specify exactly in which systems and at what times data can be archived. You can only archive data when it is no longer needed for other processes.

Archiving with the archiving objects displayed in the activity is deactivated if you have activated the Distributed Maintenance scenario. See Setting Options for Distribution.

In the Active field, set the indicator for the archiving objects if you want to use them for archiving.

Do not insert any other archiving objects.
