SAP E-Book

In this Customizing activity, you make the following basic settings to reduce the data volume during distribution:

  • Activation of filter rules for each FOX object type
  • Assignment of BRFplus filter rules to the FOX object types

You are familiar with Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus) and have used this framework to define your own filter rules as required.

Enter the following values:

  • FOX objects
  • Name of FOX objects

In this section, those FOX object types for which filter rules are to apply in distribution must be stated. By default, the object types PMNO and WOOR are stated.
  • FOX objects for BRFplus validation
State for which object types you want to use BRFplus filter rules. Set the Active indicator.
In the following sections, you specify which BRFplus filter rules are to be used for which object type.
  • Parameters for object validation (SAP template)

The rules provided in the standard system are specified in this section. The relevant object type is assigned a BRFplus application, a BRFplus function, and the signature structures.
The system uses these assignments if you have not made any customer assignments under Parameters for Object Validation.
  • Parameters for object validation

In this section, you can assign customer rules for each object type. Assign the BRFplus objects (application, function, and structures) that you created.
If you have made customer assignments, the system uses these assignments. The default assignments under Parameters for Object Validation (SAP Template) are not active in this case.
You can use the BRFplus pushbutton to directly call the relevant decision table of the BRFplus function. The system starts the BRFplus: Workbench application.
