In this IMG activity, you make the settings for user distribution for each system in your system landscape. You make these settings in the central system in your system landscape.

You have defined the systems and connection parameters.

For user distribution in the Central User Administration system, you use the role /ISDFPS/USER_DISTRIB_CENTRAL.

Under User Distribution, make the following settings:

• System Type

You assign the system a system type and therefore define which filters can be used to distribute users to this system and whether additional roles are to be assigned.

• User Distribution

You decide whether user distribution is to be active.

• Additional Roles

You specify whether the additional roles defined on the basis of the assignment of a system type are to be assigned to the users in the target system.

• User Filter

You specify whether the user filters assigned on the basis of the assignment of a system type are to be used for the system in question.

• Assign Roles

You specify whether the existing role assignments are to be transferred to the target system during user distribution.

• Assign Profiles

You specify whether the existing profile assignments are to be transferred to the target system during user distribution.
