In this Customizing activity, you make the settings for the assignments (FORCER framework).

  • ASSIGN_OP_PARTS switch
You use this switch to define the user dialog for assigning additional parts. The following settings are possible:
  • Value '0': No user dialog is available for assigning additional parts. You cannot assign additional parts.

  • Value '1': For each assignment of a material planning object with additional parts, a user dialog appears so that the user can decide which additional parts are to be assigned directly.

  • Value '2': A function is provided for subsequently assigning additional parts.

  • MM_EXTWG_INFRA switch
You specify the external material group for infrastructure material.
  • MM_MAT_TYPE_FUN switch
You use this switch to specify whether the Functional Equipment material category is available for selection (value ‘X’) for the assignment of material planning objects and material containers to force elements.
  • MM_MAT_TYPE_PER switch
You use this switch to specify whether the Personal Equipment material category is available for selection (value ‘X’) for the assignment of material planning objects and material containers to force elements.
  • MM_MAT_TYPE_SC switch
You use this switch to specify which material category is to be used as the default value for newly created assignments between position/jobs and material planning objects/material containers. State the value ‘PERS’ if the Personal Equipment material category is to be used. In all other instances, the system uses the Functional Equipment material category.
  • USE_CORR_FACTOR switch
You use this switch to define whether the tab page for assigning material planning objects in the Structures Workbench should contain fields for entering a logistical adjustment factor. If you enter the value 'X', the fields are displayed. Otherwise, they are not displayed.
