In this Customizing activity, you specify the forms that you want to use in the Structures Workbench.

You have created the desired forms using the Form Builder and the relevant form interface contains the import parameter /ISDFPS/PDF_PROC (type name: /ISDFPS/SV_RUN_INTERFACE).

You can use the levels application class, main category, and subcategory to store the desired forms according to subject or organizational aspects, for example. The forms are available for selection in the Structures Workbench according to these criteria.

Create at least one application class with one main category and one subcategory. Assign each category one or more forms that are to be available as templates in the Structures Workbench. When doing so, assign the following properties:

  • Form
Choose the desired form template.
  • Active
If the indicator is set, this template is available for generating forms in the Structures Workbench.
  • Locked
If the indicator is set, you cannot import forms to the Structures Workbench based on this template.
  • Multiple Generation Allowed
Indicate whether more than one form can be created for each force element based on this template.
  • Multiple Generation Allowed
Indicate whether more than one form can be imported for each force element based on this template.
  • Document Prefix
Specify a prefix for the created documents. This prefix is used to generate the name for the document info record that is generated during the import process.
  • Text
Enter a description for the form.
  • Object Type
Enter the relevant BOR object types for which forms are to be created.
  • Processing Class
Enter a callable class that is derived from class /ISDFPS/CL_PDF_PROCESSOR. This class is used for generating and importing forms. You can create your own classes if required.
  • Import PDF Automatically After Processing
You use this indicator to specify whether the form is to be imported immediately after it has been processed. You can use this function only if you process the form using a mobile device that has an online connection to the ERP system.
