/ISDFPS/V_FDPDA5 - Define Tab Pages for Command and Support Relationships
rdisp/max_wprun_time - Maximum work process run time Addresses (Business Address Services)This documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this IMG activity, you define which tab pages appear for assignment and support relationships in the Structures Workbench.
When mapping assignment relationships, a distinction is made between the following:
- Basic structure
- The basic structure represents the organizational structure of the armed forces. The organizational structure is mapped in the system using the organizational management functions. This is done using link types that are shipped as part of the standard, or by implementing your own external link types. The individual elements within the organizational structure are represented by force elements.
- The basic structure can differ in its set up and scope depending on whether it is used for a defense situation or a peace situation. The structure and assignments of the force elements also represents the administrative chain of command.
- Task organizations
- Within task organizations, force elements are also used to precisely define assignments that are restricted to a certain period of time. These assignments are made using external links. This way, if a new task has to be organized, you do not have to change the overall basic structure.
- Combat structure
- Note: The combat structure is not mapped in the standard system.
The timeframes specified in support relationships are exact and the support relationships themselves are mapped using external links. When mapping support relationships, a distinction is made between:
- Supply relationships
- Supply relationshipsare support relationships that can be created between force elements using an exact timeframe. They govern which supply point (force element) should supply which force element.
- Maintenance relationships
- Maintenance relationships are support relationships that can be created between force elements using an exact timeframe. They govern which force element a maintenance notification or maintenance order should be forwarded to.
- Other support relationships
- Another example of a support relationship would be medical supplies.
The standard system already contains a range of tab pages that can be used for assignment and support relationships. You do, however, also have the option of changing the link type and the relationship descriptions to suit your requirements.
We recommend you work with the standard tab pages.
Check whether the standard tab pages for assignment and support relationships and their links meet your requirements. If necessary, create new links between object types and new relationships.
- In the field Tab ID, use the input help to select a key that identifies uniquely a tab page in the iPPE Workbench.
- In the field Obj. Type, use the input help to select the key for the object type you want to set up a link for.
- In the field Link, use the input help to select the required link.
- The field AttrLink (link attributes) governs whether the link between the object types is "bottom up" or "top down".
- In the field RelObjType, use the input help to select the key for the object type you want to link.
- In the field RltnspCode, enter a code for the relationship. The code can be up to eight characters long and can comprise numbers, letters, and special characters. However, as the field is language-dependent, we recommend you use letters.
- In the field Relations., you can enter a long text for the new relationship. However, as the field is language-dependent, we recommend you use letters.
- The field Position governs the sequence in which the relationships you have created appear on a tab page in the Structures Workbench.
TabId. | Object Type | Link | AttrLink | Type Link Obj. | RltnspAbbr | Relationship | Position |
