In this Customizing activity, you define an initial status profile for the operational status and technical status of the master equipment. The entries you make here are dependent on the equipment category.

You can also define whether change documents are updated for the operational status or the technical status. Make sure that a status profile that has been assigned cannot be removed. If you do not want to use the same operational status or technical status for all of the master equipment in a particular equipment category, do not make any entries here.

You have defined an appropriate status profile for these user statuses.
