In this Customizing activity, you can define external contract schemes.

The external contract scheme is an indicator in the case-related insurance relationship.

It is required for external communication, for example in Singapore for communication with CCPS and in Italy for communication with SSN.

You can also enter a wildcard character (*) for the institution. This specifies that a specific external contract scheme applies to all institutions.

You can define an external contract scheme both for specific institutions and for all institutions. The system chooses the most specific entry if you define multiple entries.
