In this IMG activity, you specify the function modules that are to be called by the HCM Monitor program. They each carry out a specific check and report communication problems as a status message.

Use the function modules defined in function group NCMO as check routines.

  1. If you want to prevent checks, do not select Act. (active).
  2. You can write your own function modules, and specify them in this table. The system includes these function modules in each monitor run. Make sure that the interface for your function modules is identical to that of the functions in function group NCMO.

Possible checks are:

  1. Batch input sessions containing errors (ISHCM_MONITOR_BDC_RECEPTION)
  2. Unavailable partner systems (ISHCM_MONITOR_SYS_AVAILABILITY)
  3. Messages which remain for a long time in the dispatch file (ISHCM_MONITOR_NC02)
  4. HCM orders which remain for a long time in the order file (ISHCM_MONITOR_NC01)
  5. Check on Customizing settings for e-mail recipient (ISHCM_MONITOR_RECEIVER_CUST)
  6. Check on inbound EDI messages to be processed (ISHCM_MONITOR_301_WORKLIST)
  7. Check on master data of EDI data collection points (ISHCM_MONITOR_NC301P)
  8. EDI files still to be imported from the communication server directory (ISHCM_MONITOR_NC301TX)
  9. No inbound EDI files (ISHCM_MONITOR_NC301D_IN)
  10. Check number range interval for ISH_NCEDI0 (see report IS-H EDI Adjust Number Range RNC301H4)
