The Business Add-In (BAdI) IS-H: BAdI for Handling Overlapping IRs (ISH_INSREL_OVERLAP) supports you in handling overlapping insurance relationships (IRs). You can use method OVERLAP_HANDLING to delimit IRs automatically or to access a dialog for manual delimitation and generate a default delimitation date.

This BAdI is only processed if the following requirements are met:

  • BAdI ISH_INSREL_CHECK must be implemented.
  • Message N3 740 must be generated in BAdI ISH_INSREL_CHECK.
  • Message N3 740 must not be returned as an error message (the message type must not be "E").

This BAdI is not active as standard.

This is a multiple-use BAdI.

The BAdI is filter-dependent. There is a filter for the country version (ISH_INSREL_OVERLAP_CV_FLT).

Implement the BAdI and activate the implementation.

A sample implementation for the country version Austria (AT) is available in the sample class CL_EXM_IM_ISH_INSREL_OVERLAP.
