ISH_LATE_CHARGES - SG: Configure Services for Discharge Times
General Data in Customer Master SUBST_MERGE_LIST - merge external lists to one complete list with #if... logic for R3upThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
Using rule type S1 (Services for Discharge Times), you can have the system check whether a particular service must exist in relation to the time the case was discharged.
In this IMG activity, you assign the respective services to the discharge intervals in relation to the accommodation category.
Enter the following data:
- Your institution
- The appropriate accommodation category
- A time frame
- The service
If you want a particular service to be valid for all accommodation categories, enter an asterisk ("*") in the accommodation category field.
Depending on the settings in the check procedure for service rules, the system automatically generates the appropriate service for the time of discharge.
If you want to use this function, you have to enter rule type S1 in the check procedure for service rules.
Assignment of services to discharge intervals (to promote clarity, the institution is not shown)
Acc.Ctry | Frm | To | Cat. | Service |
---|---|---|---|---|
* | 11:00:00 | 13:59:59 | 1 | S1 |
A1 | 14:00:00 | 16:59:59 | 1 | S2 |
A2 | 14:00:00 | 16:59:59 | 1 | S3 |
* | 17:00:00 | 24:00:00 | 1 | S4 |
If a case is discharged at 12:30, the system checks whether service S1 exists and creates it, if necessary. It also checks whether any of the services S2, S3 or S4 exists. If any of these services exist, the system cancels them.
Note that you can only enter services from the in-house service catalog.
Do not specify overlapping time frames since the system cannot then tell which service is relevant.
If the patient is discharged on the day of his/her admission, rule type S1 will not create a service.
The system determines the accommodation category from the inpatient movement immediately prior to discharge.
