ISH_NUM_KREIS_DOKART - Define Number Ranges for Medical Record/Document Types
TXBHW - Original Tax Base Amount in Local Currency ABAP Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this IMG activity, you define the number ranges for medical record numbers as well as the type of number assignment.
When defining the medical record /document type, you have to specify a number range within which the medical record numbers are to be specified.
You can use:
- Internal Number Assignment
- The SAP System assigns the purely numeric value from the defined number range.
- External Number Assignment
- You can assign a purely numeric value from a defined external number range.
Define number range intervals.
Select Ext. (external number assignment) for number ranges that are intended for external number assignment.
- If you maintain several number range intervals for Medical Record Management, these must not overlap.
- If you assign an alphanumeric value, the system does not perform a number range check if a user exit is not implemented for the type of number assignment.
- You can assign any part of the number externally using a program with a check routine (number assignment with user exit).
-
Example
You can hard code a template (prefix) in the user exit that specifies a classifying part of the number. The system checks this entry by means of a user-defined check routine (also via user exit) and completes it with a unique internal number.
External part: | 2NG- |
Internal part: | XXXX (from a number range) |
Template: | 2NG-XXXX |
You must not change the number status of internal number range intervals.
