SAP E-Book

The flat rates per case and procedures surcharges are defined in attachments 1 and 2 of the BPflV95 (Federal Regulation for Hospitals '95 Germany). These attachments also describe the assignment of the respective valid ICD/ ICPM combinations that point to a flat rate per case or a procedures surcharge.

The IMG activity/ table described here enables the ICD/ICPM definitions from attachments 1 and 2 of the BPflV'95 to be mapped in the IS-H System. For this purpose, SAP has developed its own grammar which caters both for simple specification and expansion for electronic interpretation.

For more information on the grammar definition, please see the F1 Help for the ICD or ICPM code fields.

The rule number is freely definable. If the input line for the ICD/ICPM definition is not long enough, create a further rule for the same service (flat rate per case or procedures surcharge).

You can make the service assignment in the rule, without a service master record existing for the service in the in-house service catalog. However, it is recommended to set up the services with the correct charge type (flat rate per case or procedures surcharge) in the service master beforehand.

The rule assignments are interpreted by report RNALL001 (Propose Charges).

Please check that the codes of the services (flat rates per case and procedures surcharges) assigned to the various rules are identical to the service codes defined in the in-house service catalog. The service codes are delivered with the prefixes FP and SE. The in-house service catalog is stored as service catalog 01 in the table. If 01 is not the in-house service catalog in your institution, you can enter a new catalog in all entries of this table using the auxiliary program Enter Catalog in Table TNFPSE.

SAP delivers these rules once only on the basis of the 2nd and 3rd amendment to the BPflV'95. Should the legal definition change, please create new rules or modify the existing ones.

For more information on the charge proposal, please see the documentation on program Propose Charges.
