In this Customizing activity, you can add sensitive objects and subobjects for which logging must be performed within an institution.

If no entries are maintained for an institution, logging is not performed. If you have selected "Inactive" entry in problem class, then logging with not take place for that particular sensitive object for that particular access type.

The parameters of this activity involve the following:

  • Object ID for sensitive objects
  • Subobject ID for sensitive subobjects
  • Problem class for maintain, display, and access denied activities

You can select object IDs and subobject IDs that are maintained in Customizing for SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals under Tools -> Access Logging -> Extended Maintenance of Access Logging -> Maintain Objects for Which Logging is Required.

You can select one of the following three levels for the problem class of each activity: Very Important, Important and Medium.

There are two buttons, namely, Activate Objects and Deactivate Objects. You can select multiple rows or multiple columns and then click Activate Objects to activate sensitive objects with a default Medium priority problem class for all access types. To deactivate sensitive objects, select multiple rows or multiple columns and click Deactivate Objects.

We deliver standard object IDs and subobject IDs. For a full list of the delivered object IDs and subobject IDs, see Customizing for SAP Healthcare - Industry-Specific Components for Hospitals under Tools -> Access Logging -> Extended Maintenance of Access Logging -> Maintain Objects for Which Logging is Required.
