Use

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to influence the conversion of the SDO record values from internal value (format SAP Patient Management System) to external value (format SSN inside the file).

By implementing the method below, you can convert the value of a field from internal to external value using your own rules and overriding the SAP standard conversion. Message type can be obtained from field IS_RNSDO_HEADER-NTKRZ (For example, SDO1). For example, the date format for SDO record communication is 'ddmmyyyy', but you can use this BAdI to change this to 'mmddyyyy' format. The values from this BAdI are the final values that will be entered into the SDO files. Customer can also insert additional records for a case. The first entry in the table CT_SDODATA is considered as the main entry and the field SDOID is used to relate the additional records. The order of records in the SDO files is the same, as it is returned from this BAdI implementation. If the return table CT_RETURN is returned with errors, SDO file creation will be aborted. The communication standard and version for the selected list of cases can be obtained from importing parameters IV_CMSTD and IV_STVER.

To ensure complete processing, enable the FORMAT implementation and activate the BAdI.
