SAP E-Book

In this Customizing activity, you can design dynpros in certain specified module pools with predefined subscreen containers and screen fields. SAP specifies the allowed module pools, subscreen containers, and subscreens (subscreen per field allowed).

  • If you wish to use a different layout for the "Patient Name" screen in the Clinical Process Builder (CPB), you can choose the value from the F4 help (SAPLNBUPA_PNAM_SCR) as a "generic screen definition" in the module name. You must also select the subscreen container, of which several may be possible, depending on the module pool. The subscreen container is always a subscreen comprising a number of rows, which is then supplied dynamically with various subscreens.
  • This dynamic screen definition is not used in the CPB until the "Active" flag is selected. This means you can store a number of definitions for a module pool but only allow one active definition per module pool.
  • You define the layout for each individual row in the subscreen container on a second level, "Generic Screen Definition (Line Layout)".
  • Additional subscreen containers are available here for the individual rows, and you can also select an individual subscreen here if you only want to display one field with a subscreen in the row in question.

  • You define the layout for each column in a selected row subscreen container on a third level, "Generic Screen Definition (Column Layout)".
  • All the relevant subscreens for this purpose are listed in the F4 help.

  • Important: At runtime, the system ignores entries with row or column values that do not appear in the subscreen container.

If in doubt, contact your IS-H consultant. Please note that this is a client-specific modification to the SAP standard delivery.

The use of this function is currently only supported for the generic versions XV1 and XV2.
