ISLM allows you configure your system to limit the maximum number of different tasks. Machine learning can lead to large resource usage in the system. By configuring your system, you can use your resource in your landscape efficiently.

You must have the Change (02) authorization for configuring the Authorization ISLM2 group.

To create or modify the settings for Embedded and Side By Side scenarios,

1. Choose one of the following values from the ID drop-down list:

Concurrent Trainings for Embedded scenarios

The maximum number of active Trainings that can run concurrently for the Embedded scenarios.

If you choose System level, the Training limit applies to the entire system.

If you choose Client level, the Training limit applies to the corresponding clients.

Concurrent Trainings for Side by Side scenarios

The maximum number of active Trainings that can run concurrently for the Side By Side scenarios.

The Training limit can be less than or equal to the total number of trainings for the Side By Side scenarios.

The defined Training limit applies to entire system.

The default Training limit is 2.

Total Trainings for Side by Side scenarios

The total number of queued and active Trainings that can run for the Side By Side scenarios. The defined

Training limit applies to the entire system.

Total Deployments per scenario in Side By Side

The total number of running deployments per Intelligent Scenario. The default Deployment limit is 3, which

includes an active deployment. The active deployment is used for inference process from the application side.

The defined limit applies to client specific.

Concurrent Batch Inference for Side by Side scenarios

The maximum number of batch inference in processing status that can run concurrently for the Side By Side scenarios.

The batch inference limit can be less than or equal to the total number of batch inferences for the Side By Side

scenarios.

The defined batch inference limit applies to your entire system.

The default limit is 3.

Total Batch Inference for Side by Side scenarios

The total number of queued and batch inference in processing status that can run for the Side By Side scenarios.

The defined limit applies to your entire system.

2. Choose one of the following values from the Level drop-down list:

,,,,System

,,Client

3. Enter the Limit value.

For total Training in the Side By Side scenario, value must be between 2 and 10.

For total deployment in the Side By Side scenario, the minimum value must be 3.

For total batch inference in the Side By Side scenario, value must be between 2 and 10.

4. Click on Save
