In this Customizing activity you define access sequences that are used to check admissible values for ad items in a cross-media package in the IS-M/AM order.

The Customizing settings you make for the access sequences control the entry of admissible values in the package master data for the package configurator. Note that you can only record admissible values for a package if they are also found in an access sequence. If you enter admissible values in a package, you must always specify an access sequence.

Access sequences used to check items generated in the IS-M/AM order can also be used to define whether the attribute characteristics in the order items correspond to the admissible values, since you can only use certain attribute characteristics in a package. For example, the only admissible characteristic for the attribute Color Scheme for Ad Item within a package is Black/White.

An access sequence consists of an access key and the attributes that are assigned to the access sequence from the IS-M/AM order items.

In the package configurator and the IS-M/AM order, the system only uses access sequences that are recorded in the folder structure for the view cluster Access Sequences Used.

You can extend the attributes that can be selected for an access sequence. Use an append to add additional fields to the DDIC structure that is used to define the field catalog. You also use this append to extend the database tables in the package configurator so that you can store admissible values for a package.

When making enhancements, make sure that you only add those attributes that correspond to the attributes for the corresponding IS-M/AM order item type.
