In this Customizing activity you define access sequences that are used when upselling ad items that are part of cross-media packages in the IS-M/AM order.

The Customizing settings you make for the access sequences control the entry of upselling values in the package master data for the package configurator. Note that you can only record upselling values for a package if they are also found in an access sequence. If you enter upselling values in a package, you must always specify an access sequence.

Access sequences also control determination of the relevant upselling packages when you execute an upselling transaction from the IS-M/AM order.

An access sequence consists of an access key and the attributes that are assigned to the access sequence from the IS-M/AM order items.

In the package configurator and the IS-M/AM order, the system only uses access sequences that are recorded in the folder structure for the view cluster Access Sequences Used.

You can extend the attributes that can be selected for an access sequence. Use an append to add additional fields to the DDIC structure that is used to define the field catalog. You also use this append to extend the database tables in the package configurator so that you can store upselling values for a package.

When making enhancements, make sure that you only add those attributes that correspond to the attributes for the corresponding IS-M/AM order item type.

1) To define an access sequence, assign an access key and a description of this key.

2) You can define valid attributes at a lower level for an access sequence that you select in the maintenance view. A field catalog that you can use to select attributes is available to you here. An attribute must be unique within an access sequence. However, it can be contained in any number of access sequences.

3) To specify that an access sequence is available in both the package configurator and the IS-M/AM order, you must add this to the Access Sequences Used. You can exclude access sequences that you no longer want to support from the selection by removing them from the Access Sequences Used.

Do not completely delete access sequences that are already used but are no longer required, since this can lead to inconsistencies in the existing applications.
