Each record in the circulation book is created under a unique key - a number assigned internally. You can only define an internal number range interval for the assignment of these keys.
When the system creates a new record during the circulation book update, it automatically assigns a sequence number as the key from the specified internal number range interval.

The standard system contains a predefined internal number range interval for the circulation book.
You should not change the settings in the standard system.
To define a number range, you must specify a number interval (or several number intervals). To do this, please proceed as follows:
- Specify an alphanumeric key of up to 2 characters for each number interval.
-
Specify the limits of the number interval (from, to).
The individual number intervals must not overlap. Each number can only occur once per number range.
You define the use of the number range intervals under Basic Settings - Definition of Number Range Usage.
Define the internal number range to be used for object ISM_CBOOK (circulation book) in the above step.
