ISMSD_MS_COLLAUART_N - Define Recall Types

In this Customizing activity, you define the possible recall types. Recall types map different recall activities and are used to control the process for recalling unsold copies.

To define a recall type, please proceed as follows:

  • Recall type
Enter an alphanumeric key of up to 4 characters for a recall type.
Enter a text to explain the meaning of the key.
  • Recall reason
Enter a recall reason. This is used as a default value when creating the recall.
  • Data origin
  • Select the Quantity Planning indicator if the quantity planning function is to be used to determine the recall data.

  • Select the Issues Delivered indicator if the issues delivered are to be used to determine the recall data.

  • If you do not select the Quantity Planning or Issues Delivered indicator, the system takes all the media issues in the customers' contract items into account when determining the recall data.

In the Business Add-In Determine Issues for Recall (ISM_COLLECTION_NEW_04), you can use the method IF_ISM_COLLECTION_NEW_04~GET_RECALLED_ISSUE_PER_CONTR to specify which media issues are taken into account for each contract item and media issue when creating a recall for a customer.
  • Determine recall date
Select the Suspensions indicator if you want the system to take account of suspensions for the business partner when generating recalls.
Select the indicator Take Account of Business Partner's Allowed Recall Days if you want the business partner's recall dates to be taken into account when generating recalls.
