In this IMG activity, you define cross-role properties for the quantity fields in returns processing.

Enter a text for quantity fields 1 to 10. The fields are displayed with this text in the returns programs: this means you replace the technical field labels with descriptive texts that meet your requirements.

You can specify whether each of the fields is an input or output field, and whether or not it is to be displayed on the screen.

You can restrict but not extend the cross-role Customizing settings by making role-specific settings for a specific SAP role. This means that you cannot specify that a field is an input or output field if it is defined as invisible in the cross-role settings. On the other hand, if a field has been defined as an input field in the cross-role settings, you can define it as an output field or an invisible field in the role-specific settings.

You assign the text Return Quantity to quantity field 1. The field is to be an input field. You enter the text Damaged Copies for quantity field 2. The field is also to be an input field.
