In this step, you make the settings for the BSP application 'Select a Marketing Campaign'.
Selection of a marketing campaign can take place as a preliminary step to creating an order for a campaign. For example, the BSP application is used in the Customer Interaction Center (CIC).
Maintain the data required under a profile name of your choice.
- Enter a short and long text for the profile.
In the following steps, define the layout of the BSP application. These settings are optional and can override the predefined standard layout.
- The BSP application is subdivided into three column areas: an area containing the field names on the left hand side of the screen, an area containing entry fields in the middle, and an area containing pushbuttons on the right. You can define the width of these three areas individually to adjust the size of the application according to the space available. Specify the width in pixels.
- Choose the style of the grid layout. This influences the look and feel of the application.
- Choose the compact view display if desired.
The settings for selecting marketing campaigns determine which campaigns are available for selection when the BSP application is accessed.
- Specify whether or not marketing campaigns from the IS-M component Periodical Sales and Distribution (M/SD) are to be listed for selection.
- Specify whether or not marketing campaigns from the IS-M component Advertising Management (M/AM) are to be listed for selection.
- Specify a delta for entering a default from- and to-date for selecting the validity period of the marketing campaign.
If the user selects a marketing campaign from Periodical Sales and Distribution, the system accesses the BSP application 'Order with Reference to Campaign'. This BSP application is also controlled by a profile. Specify the profile that is to be used when the application is called.
The profile name is passed on in the URL as the value for parameter PROFILE when the BSP application
is accessed. Add the string &PROFILE=
