ISM_MP_MAT_STATUS - Material Statuses for Media Issues

In this step, you define the material statuses for media issues and the characteristics of the individual material statuses.

The material status restricts the usability of the media issue; that is to say, it determines whether a warning or an error message is displayed when the media issue is used in a specific function.

In Press Distribution, you can define the system lock behavior (warning or error) for the following functions when defining the material status for media issues:

• Processing of purchase quantity plan records

• Generation of orders in purchase quantity planning

• Processing of records for return to publisher

• Generation of orders for return to publisher

1. Define the material statuses.
2. Define the characteristics of the individual material statuses on the details screen. To do this, position the cursor on the relevant line and press F2. The system displays the details screen for the line.
