In this Customizing activity, you assign the optimization methods for the media issues in the shipping plan to the shipping plan.

You can select the optimization methods assigned using the Optimize function in the shipping plan.

You should have defined the optimization methods for the media issues beforehand. For more information, see Customizing for Press Distribution under Shipping and Transportation Planning -> Shipping Planning -> Optimization Methods for Shipping Plan -> Define Optimization Methods for Media Issues.

  1. Enter the optimization methods that are to be available in the shipping plan.
  2. Define the order in which the system is to list the optimization methods in the dropdown box for the Optimize function in the sort sequence.
