In this IMG activity, you define the quantity planning views for purchase order quantity planning. The quantity planning view structures your view of the data in Purchase Order Quantity Planning.

To define the structure of the data in purchase quantity planning using quantity planning views, assign the user groups, substructures, quantity fields, and calculation methods to the views in subsequent steps.

The user groups, substructures, and calculation methods used should already be defined.

To define a quantity planning view for purchase quantity planning, please proceed as follows:

• Quantity planning view

Enter an alphanumeric key and an explanatory name for the quantity planning view.

• Assign user groups

Assign the user groups that use this quantity planning view.

• Assign substructures

Assign the substructures. This specifies which applications use this quantity planning view.

• Assign quantity fields to each substructure

• In this step, you define the quantity fields (for example, planned purchase order quantity) that are used in the quantity planning view. You can only use the quantity fields that are defined in the substructure.

• Define the properties for these quantity fields (display or maintenance).

• Assign calculation methods

Select the calculation methods that are used in the quantity planning view.
