You can use the Business Add-In ISM_RETURN_ALV_COMPLETED (enhancement spot ISM_RETURN_EXTEND_ALV) in individual customer returns processing (transaction JKSDRETURN1) to prevent the creation of additional items.

For details about the implementation, see the BAdI documentation (transaction SE19).

The following method is available:

  • RETURN_COMPLETED (Return fully processed)

You set the indicator CV_COMPLETE to 'Complete' once all items have been released to SD.
