ISM_WERKZPOSTAKTUSA2 - Generate Change Records for Streets and P.O.Boxes

In this step, you execute the update program for the US postal data using the ZIP+4 file (streets, postal codes, postal code-city assignments, P.O. boxes etc.).

The program compares the postal units that are already in the system with the current data in the ZIP+4 file and creates a change record for each change it identifies.

• The postal data update with the CSP file should already have taken place.

• The data is released to the operative system via change management. In order to do this, you must create a change number in advance and then specify it on the program selection screen.

You should install the individual versions of the ZIP+4 file successively and not skip any versions if at all possible.

1. Specify the following general data on the selection screen:
1. Country (US)
2. States (from - to)
3. Number of records after which a database commit is to take place
4. Code page source and code page destination (SAP character sets)
2. Enter the change number that is to be used to check and release the change records.
