ISPAM_ABS_COND12 - Define Condition Types

Condition types are used to reproduce price elements in the SAP System. In the context of the contract, the auxiliary sizes such as threshold values (for particular evaluations) and tolerances (for target fulfillment for final settlement) are also stored as condition types in addition to contract discount, bonus and fixed quantity price.

In each condition type, the access sequence specified determines which fields are checked by the SAP System during the search for a valid condition rate.

All condition types that the SAP System takes into account automatically during contract discount determination are grouped together in the associated pricing procedure.

• If you want to define your own condition types, the key should begin with the letter Z, since SAP reserves these name spaces in the standard system.

• You should not change the condition types that are supplied in the SAP standard system.

• Establish the extent to which you are able to use the condition types which are supplied in the SAP standard system.

• You can create a new condition type by copying a similar condition type. To do so, you must specify the following:

• Enter an alphanumeric key of up to four characters and a descriptive text for each condition type.

• Specify an access sequence for the condition types. (You do not need to define an access sequence for header conditions).

• Maintain the detail screen for the condition type.
