In this step you define the pricing procedure for contract discount determination. In this pricing procedure you determine which condition types are to be taken into account in what order. The pricing procedure to be used for contract discount determination is entered in Customizing in the contract control data for the sales area.

• If possible, you should not change the pricing procedure for contract discount determination contained in the SAP Standard System. It contains entries for all functions that are currently possible.

• For reasons of performance, you should only enter condition types that are used, in any pricing procedure you define yourself.

Create a new pricing procedure by copying the old pricing procedure.

• Enter a key for it which can have up to 6 digits and a text to describe it.

• Enter the condition types in the sequence in which they are used for a pricing procedure.

• Maintain the lines in the pricing procedure.

• Record the name of the pricing procedure in the contract control data in sales area.
