Dynamic Item Processor
Hi Group,has anybody used the Dynamic Item Processor and 4.6x and knows how to
configure it?
I'm working on an upgrade from 3.1h to 4.6C. I found in Service Management
that when I need to do a resource related billing I now need a DIP profile
in my service order. Well, I found the configuration of DIP but am not sure
what I'm supposed to enter and in which level (i.e. profile, usage,
characteristics, source, selection criteria, material determination,
criteria).
Basically I would like to invoice an labor hours in a service order and if
materials were used (and issued) I would like to invoice those as well.
I tried it with various entries (from possible selections) but either get a
program dump or error messages. I think I don't have not entered the right
combination with right selections.
I also could not find any detailed documentation on DIP with examples I
could try.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
