deleting a SID
You still need to do the chgjrn to detach (close off) the old receiver andcreate the new "scratch" receiver. You will then be able to delete the
chain. I'm not saying it's logical, however it does work.

Hello, I tried the WRKLIB, option 12, option 4. I still cannot delete. I
ran the CHGJRN, but this will just create another receiver. I only have
one receiver which I need to delete so that I can delete the QSQJRN journal
and the Database library.
I also tried the ENDJRNAP and the ENDCMTCTL COMMANDS for the journal. All
the commands end journaling for zero objects.
