PC Configuration for SAP
Hi Chris,
My first guess would be that you are running on Windows98, and running the 4.6d
GUI.
If that is so, I have found that no matter how much memory you have on the PC,
SAP cannot allowcate the resources. I had 128 MB of RAM, then 256 MB of RAM same
problem. I reinstalled 4.0b GUI, it works fine.
This is on my Home PC connecting to the office.
At work I have 256 MB Ram running Windows NT 4.0, and I don't have a problem,
although the more windows I have oppen the slower the responses become to switch
between windows.

Subject: PC Configuration for SAP
I am researching hardware/software configurations for SAP. I have looked at
the OSS note referencing this but I would like to know how things are in the
real world since my system is set up like the note for 4.6C but I still run
out of memory with only 3 windows open.
If anyone has the time, could you please send me your configuration setup
(hardware, software, RAM etc..) for you PC? Also, if you have a standard
config. for end users, that would also be helpful.
Thanks
