BDC's with Creating CATTs
Hello gang.I have a opportunity.
I wish to have all my clients on our DEV instance locked down from making
changes to Repository and Cross -Client objects and from having transports
created except from our Clean config. client. The problem is that I have
CATTs being created that include a step that creates a record in a table.
Since no transactional data is allowed in our clean config. client, the
creation of the CATT is not allowed, but, since a CATT is a cross client
object, it can not be changed currently in our sandbox client.
I have heard of using a BDC (Batch Data Communication) to create the CATT
which does not require any data but I can not find it in the option SCAT.
Our developers are bogged down with work presently so I can not ask them for
help. We are currently at 4.6C release.
If anyone has any suggestions or a better way of doing this, any help would
be great.
