SAP question

Hi there, SAPPERS.

I trust you all have had a good Christmas and New Year!

I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. We would like to
have a program running (like the OSCOLLECTOR) in SAP that will, during the
day, collect information on which users have logged on and a basic trace of
what activities they have performed on the system. Which transactions they
used, which authorization objects were checked, etc. By doing this we can
format a report to determine, over a period of time, whether a user has
authorization to activities/transactions they never use. This would be just
one of the things that could make life much easier for us and for all the
other SAP customers out there as well, I'm sure.

Does anyone know if there is already a report or built-in functionality to
provide this sort of information and track it over a period of time (output
to a file/table)? We don't want to have to manually activate a trace on
specific user-id's. We want the system to "automate" the trace for every
user logged on for a long time frame (a month, for example).

I would appreciate any information anyone can give me in this regard.

Thanks and regards,
