Can not activate new condition file on PRD

Hi Matt,

I guess, you are really having a hard and strange error in the
Cross-Reference files in QSYS2. We had this problem a few times after
upgrades of the OS.

You might be able to work with the following solution:
You have to have a valid signon with QSECOFR authority, other profiles will
lead you to errors and problems.

No R/3 system has to run during the repair time, no object locks should
exist.

Execute CMD:

WRKOBJ OBJ(QSYS2/*ALL) OBJTYPE(*FILE).

You should find here duplicate entries, similar to, like examples:
PROCED0001 and PROCEDURES both file type LF

You also may find PF file types.

In order to fix the DBR between PF in QSYS and LF in QSYS2 you can call the
following fix:
Call qsys2/qsqxrlf parm('CRT' 'QSYS2')
Which will recover all LF file type beginning with SYS*. The PGM execution
is not harmful or dangerous just because only the existency of objects is
checked, and depending whether they are existing or not, they are created,
otherwise no action will take place.

The 'library parm' is optional, so you can fix all file objects (LF)
missing or renamed for whatever reason calling this function in any library
you may want.
Other LF or PF objects, like PROCEDURES or PROCED0001, not beginning with
SYS* are not handled, so after execution of the programm you have to rename
the remaining ones back to their original value, case they are not existing
or to delete the exceeding duplicates (before renamed -0001 etc) LF's in
the library.

Hope, this helps,

Volker
