CRM

Hello Fernando,
I am assuming that you are talking about implementing CRM 3.0 or 3.1.

The CRM instance has several parts. The main part, including the database,
can be installed on iSeries. The IPC (internet pricing), inQmy (SAPJ2EE),
KPRO content server and index server, communication station (for mobile
sales), and ITS/web server (IIS) must currently run on NT or Win2K. The
direction is to move these components into a position where they are
platform independent, but much of the infrastructure requirement to do this
will not be in the basis release until 6.30.

As for a non R/3 backend. It is not only possible, but it has been done.
With 2.0C it was difficult. With 3.0 it is much easier, but still requires
much knowledge. With 3.1, the task of integrating a non R/3 backend or
multiple OLTP becomes much easier, but will still require detailed CRM
middleware knowledge.

I hope this answers your question.
Best regards,
Alan

Hi, i'm starting with the CRM... but i have any doubts..
Is possible install the CRM in one Box (all the components in one
system)?
Is possible install the CRM without a SAP R3?

Thank.
Fernando Plaza.
