Does DBMON need to be enabled on all APP Serve rs or just DB Server

Hi Blake,

you are right. You can see in st04 in "extras" or so, the activity for the
db-mon. 2=> new db mon, 0=> turned off.

As it gets started on Job-Level, you only collect your db-server. If that's
it what you wish, it's fine, otherwise you should turn it on for the
appl-servers as well.

But, be sure, to have the following PTF installed. Otherwise the performance
gets pretty worse:

I've noticed within ST04, Detailed Analysis then Index Useage, not
all of my indexes which are being used show in the statistics. I know
certain indexes are being used because I can see them in SQL traces,
BUT I do not see any useage within the statistics. I am currently
running the DBMON enabled in the DB server but both of my App servers
have DBMON disabled (as4/dbmon/enabled=0). Should I be running the
DBMON enabled on all machines? Could this be why the statistics
(st04) are missing index useage? Thanks for any responses.
