Euro currency change

We are running SAP at release 4.0B.

We are looking to change the local company currency code from Deutschmark to
Euro, has anybody any experience of doing this? Particularly with regard to the
following points:

1. Is their a standard SAP tool or methodology which can be used to
retrospectively apply the effect of the 'local' currency change to the existing
data?

2. Did you use a SAP business partner to help bring about this change? If so
which one?

3. How long did it take to perform the currency change?

4. Are there any particular issues which we would need to watch out for?
