In SM59, did you specify a remote client and specified a user to log on? Any other way didn't work with me. I did a remote client copy several times on both 4.6B and 4.6C systems, with a mixture of V4R4 and V4R5. On 4.6x, there is an option in SCC9 to do a 'RFC check', it takes 10-15 min and checks the compatibility of the tables between the 2 systems. Are you able to do this?
I do not have any experience doing SCC9 on a 4.0B system, but I could ask around.
Kind regards, Paul Hoogendoorn
