In specification management when assigning values to specifications, the system displays the value assignment instances in a table. You can also enter the value assignment data in this table. In addition to the fields supplied, the table also contains five information fields that you can change using this SAP enhancement. In the standard, the system displays the following data in the first three information fields:

• Source

• Source note

• Info user text

With this enhancement you can configure the display of the fields as you require by filling the fields ADD_INF1, ADD_INF2, ADD_INF3, ADD_INF4, and ADD_INF5 with data that is then displayed.

The function module C1B4_VALIOT_INSTANCE_INFO is an example for this enhancement and shows how to:

• Enter a value from the standard source, source note, or user-defined text fields

• Create information from the validity areas of the value assignment instance

• Output the value of a characteristic depending on the value assignment type displayed

Input parameters

• I_PROP_HEAD

Header record for the value assignment type

• I_VALIOT

Header record of the value assignment instance with the filled standard fields SRCNAM, SRCTEXT, and VTXTINF

• I_ADDINF

Additional information (key date and so on)

• I_PROP_DATA_TAB, I_REL_TAB, I_USAGE_TAB, I_SOURCE_TAB, I_FTEXT_TAB, I_COMP_TAB, I_TRANS_APP_TAB, I_CODE_PERM_TAB, I_HAZ_CLASS_TAB, I_TRANS_CLASS_TAB
  All data for the current value assignment instance

Output parameters

• E_VALIOT

Modified header record of the value assignment instance. The fields ADD_INF1, ADD_INF2, ADD_INF3, ADD_INF4, and ADD_INF5 can now be filled. The parameter must be a copy of the input parameter I_VALIOT with the additional values.

• X_ADD_INF1_HEADER, X_ADD_INF2_HEADER, X_ADD_INF3_HEADER, X_ADD_INF4_HEADER, X_ADD_INF5_HEADER

Headings for the five variable output fields. They apply for all value assignment instances.
