Functionality

Using this function module, you can initiate a telephone call using the SAPphone function. This telephone call is documented as a task in the R/3 notification.

Example

Notes

In the task long text, the system records the date/time the telephone call began and ended, and the names/telephone numbers of calling and receiving parties. The system also stores the receiving party's telephone number in the task short text field. The date of the conversation is also documented in the task.

If the caller selected the "Dial and close" function in the SAPphone dialog box, the time recorded for the end of the call does not correspond to the actual time the call was completed. It reflects the time when the call was dialed.
