| No longer used as of Release 2.1 D. Prior to this release, |
| specifies the path name for archive files generated with the SAP |
| archiving function (transaction F040). You can select any |
| directory path that you wish. However, you should observe the |
| following two restrictions: Select a locally-mounted directory |
| on the data base server. To ensure data security, you should |
| not specify a directory that is remotely mounted. The file name |
| must be as follows: R+++++++. The archiving function replaces |
| the +-signs with characters according to the naming convention |
| described in the archiving documentation. |
