Initializing the comparison

Function module EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLATPQ_011 is called

  • at the start of the comparison
  • for every call of the comparison
  • before the processing of the sequence of product allocation procedures

Comparison

The comparison is necessary if other basic methods (availability check, forecast check) were called after product allocations. The product allocation assignment is adjusted during the comparison. The product allocation assignment is a result of product allocations.

From the perspective of product allocations, the product allocation assignment describes which product allocation quantities (quantity and period) were used for an order item to confirm the required quantity. The product allocation assignment does not directly correspond to the schedule lines of the order item.

If the basic methods called after product allocations reduced the confirmed quantity, the product allocation assignment must be adjusted to the reduced, confirmed quantity. This adjustment is carried out during the comparison.
If the product allocation quantities are not adjusted, a larger product allocation quantity, which can then no longer be used by other orders, is reserved.

Environment

The comparison parameters are copied to the function module. The parameters cannot be changed.

The function module can be used to initialize the data in the user exit function group.
To be able to work with the following user exits or with the Business Add-In (BAdI) method READ_KOSCHGRP of the BAdI: Change Allocation Procedure and Procedure Sequence BAdI, this module can save the call parameters in the buffer area.

  • To reset the comparison results using the enhancement APOQT034, the required quantity (IT_DEMAND) and the confirmed quantity (IT_PERMIT) can be saved in the buffer.
You can influence the comparison process using the enhancement APOQT035 and the sequence of product allocation procedures.

Combination

You can combine the following enhancements:

  • APOQT035,,sequence of product allocation procedures

You can also use enhancement APOQT001 for general initializations (only one call per order) of the user exit function group.

Product allocations

You can use enhancement APOQT010 to initialize product allocations using parameters.
