Enhancement

You can use this enhancement to re-establish settings for an interpolation that you have already set in Customizing under Device Management -> Meter Reading -> Meter Reading Order -> Order Creation -> Define Automatic Interpolation of Meter Reading Reasons. Function module EXIT_SAPLELKA_001 is also available for this purpose.

You can define, for example, that the register can only undergo interpolation if the last meter reading was taken by the utility company. If the last meter reading was taken by the customer, then a meter reading order must be created for meter reading by the utility company.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Call up function module EXIT_SAPLELKA_001 for meter reading order creation for a register before interpolation.
  2. Transfer the following input parameters:
  • Equipment number

  • Register

  • Serial number

  • Scheduled meter reading date

  • Meter reading reason

Enter your coding per function module in the following include files:

Function module Include file
EXIT_SAPLELKA_001 ZXELXU04

You define the check in this include according to certain criteria. You can, for example, check whether the last meter reading was taken by the utility company. In this case only can the register undergo interpolation. The return value of the function module is an output parameter resulting from the check. This output parameter means that for the above mentioned example, interpolation cannot be performed after leaving the function module.
