EXIT_SAPLBPT1_003 -

Using this function module, customer-defined objects are formatted to be displayed on the customer contact screen. You generally only have to copy the values from the fields into your object stucture. If required, the objects can be specially formatted.

The system temporarily saves the screen data in a global structure of the object program, so that it is available for the next PBO call in the customer subscreen. This (and the corresponding PAI case) are the only cases where there must not be any object-related data in the object program. This is the case because the CALL SUBSCREEN statement does not permit any parameter transfers.
