This customer enhancement enables you to deviate from the standard method when deleting class and classification data for configured objects.
It is possible to delete a characteristic from a class even if configured objects (such as sales orders) already exist for this.
You can do this providing the class type concerned is a variant class type (e.g.), you delete the data using Engineering Change Management, and the change date is in the future.
