Controller &24 on line &23 failed. Probable insufficient resources. (C G R)

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The system lacks the resources needed to communicate with the controller. The probable causes are:
-- There are too many lines on communications processor &26.
-- The combined data rate of the lines on communications processor &26 is too high.
Recovery . . . : Do one or more of the following:
Use the Display Local Hardware (DSPLCLHDW) command to find resource name &26, which is the resource name of the communications processor associated with line &23. Note the resource names of all communications ports on that processor. Then do the following:
-- Use the Work with Configuration Status (WRKCFGSTS) command to determine the status of all lines.
-- For each line that is not varied off, display the resource name (RSRCNAME parameter) of the line description. If the resource name identifies a port on processor &26, and if there are no jobs using the line, vary the line off.
-- Note that it may be necessary to move lines from processor &26 to another processor.
Use the Work with Line Description (WRKLIND) command to determine the line type of line &23.
-- If the line type is *SDLC, change the maximum frame size (MAXFRAME parameter) of the line description to a smaller value.
-- If the line type is *TRLAN, change the maximum frame size of the line description to a smaller value.
-- If the line type is *BSC, change the maximum buffer size (MAXBUFFER parameter) of the line description to a smaller value.
-- If the line type is *ASYNC, change the maximum buffer size of the line description to a smaller value.
-- If the line type is *X25, change the maximum packet size (MAXPKTSIZE parameter) of the line description to a smaller value.
If the problem continues, press F14 to run problem analysis.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel recovery and inform any applications that are waiting for an operation that the recovery has been canceled.
G -- Start the automatic communications recovery again as defined by the communications recovery limit (CMNRCYLMT) for line &23.
R -- Try the operation one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22.
The error code is &40: The IOP cannot get enough storage.
