Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A busy signal (engaged tone) was detected by the modem. This may be a normal busy condition or it may indicate a remote modem, remote system, or network problem.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following and retry the call:
Contact the remote system operator and verify the operation of the remote system.
Verify that the connection number (CNNNBR) parameter in the controller description is correct.
If this condition occurs often and no other problems exist, increase the dial retry (DIALRTY) parameter in the controller description.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel.
R -- Try again one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22.
The error code is &40: V.25bis call failure, engaged tone.
The call failure indication (CFI) received from the modem was &41. The modem sends this CFI when a busy signal (engaged tone) is detected. If this condition persists, it may indicate a remote modem, remote system, or network problem.
